In the spirit of bridging instructional approaches, our lunch is set up for networking! The goal of the networking lunch is to facilitate professional connections outside our typical specialities and geographic areas.

Networking Lunch
-
The food: Catered by Jason’s Deli! Lunch is included in the cost of in-person registration. All in-person attendees will receive a box lunch from Jason’s Deli that includes a sandwich/wrap, chips, a cookie, and a pickle. Drinks will be provided on-site, including major sodas and sparkling water. Two vegetarian options are available. Attendees with dietary restrictions can contact info@lawlreading.com. Because lunch is facilitated as a networking session, we ask attendees to not leave for lunch off-site.
The networking: Attendees’ badges will have a color-coded sticker indicating their networking group. Throughout the conference, reflection and connection questions will be posed to in-person attendees based on their stickers. During lunch, mixing and mingling will be facilitated by group.

The food: Yours! Virtual attendees won’t receive a catered sandwich box.
The networking: Virtual attendees will split into breakout rooms based on professional background to reflect on the initial sessions and share their own experiences with teaching (world language) reading.
During the virtual networking session, we ask everyone turn their cameras on, so that we can put faces and names together as we chat!
