Caitlin Cornell

Bio:

Caitlin Cornell, Ph.D. researches and supports accessible and inclusive teaching and learning broadly and she also has a specific interest in disability inclusive additional language learning and teaching. As the Accessibility Coordinator and Advocate for the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University (MSU), Cornell leads accessibility and disability inclusion strategy in the college, engages in university-wide inclusion conversations, supports faculty and teaching assistants in their accessible teaching efforts, and advocates for disabled students and their learning needs. In her wide-ranging role as the Assistant Director of the Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA) at MSU, Cornell engages in administrative strategic planning, sets and implements center policies, mentors undergraduate and graduate students, and liaises with K-12 language education partners. Cornell also teaches a graduate course she designed for the MA in Foreign Language Teaching program on Individual Differences and accessibility for language teaching.
